 The Drifting Guitar won the Best Children's Film Award au PÖFF Shorts Festival in Tallinn, Estonia, many thanks to the jury :-) !

 

 

Le Secret des Mésanges, réalisé par Antoine Lanciaux et sur lequel j'ai travaillé comme autrice graphique des personnages, est à l'affiche au cinéma ! C'est un long métrage entièrement réalisé à la main en papier découpé traditionnel. Plusieurs extraits du making of sont à retrouver ici.

The Secret of Birds, directed by Antoine Lanciaux and on which I worked as the character’s graphic author, is shown in cinemas !  The film is entirely made by hand from traditional paper cut. Several extracts from the making of the film are to be found here.

Une Guitare à la Mer a remporté deux prix cet été : le prix du meilleur film d’animation au Festival International de Vébron (Cévennes, France), et le premier prix du meilleur film d'animation pour enfants au Festival international de Rhode Island, aux États-Unis. Merci aux jurys :-) !

The Drifting Guitar won two awards this summer: the best animated film award at the International Festival of Vébron  (France), and the First Prize for best children’s animation at the Rhode Island International Festival, in the United States. Many thanks to the juries :-) !

Je travaille depuis plusieurs semaines sur Les Oiseaux Electriques de Pothakudi, un projet d'adaptation du livre éponyme de Karthika Naïr, illustré par Joëlle Jolivet et produit par les Films de l'Arlequin. Je réalise un teaser de 45 secondes en papier découpé (co-écrit avec mon amie Pauline Pinson), qui sera présenté au Forum Cartoon, en septembre prochain à Toulouse.

I have been working for several weeks on Electric Birds of Pothakudi, an adaptation project of the eponymous book by Karthika Naïr, illustrated by Joëlle Jolivet and produced by Les Films de l'Arlequin. I am making a 45-second teaser in paper cut (co-written with my friend Pauline Pinson), which will be presented at the Forum Cartoon, next September in Toulouse.

Le programme "Une Guitare à la Mer" sera projeté en avant-première à la Cinémathèque Française, dimanche 2 février à 15h. Je serai présente à la projection avec Pierre-Luc Granjon.

Le programme sort officiellement dans les salles de cinéma en France le mercredi 5 février.

The program "The Drifting Guitar" will be screened in preview at the Cinémathèque Française, Sunday, February 2 at 3pm. I will be present at the screening with Pierre-Luc Granjon.

The programme is officially released in cinemas in France on Wednesday, 5 February.
